Once you have downloaded the package, just untar the the file in your home directory. (tar xvfz SergeSpellCheck.tgz) and all the files will decompress in a newly created directory. For the rest of the procedure just refer to the INSTALL file in that directory.

For some reason that I have not had time to investigate, the program will only start to spellcheck after you call Cream_spellcheck() twice..
